Summer season or the season of BBQ gatherings, I love this time of year. Poolside dinners, BBQ lunches, Brunch on the deck, and lord it all centers around food. Often it seems I am discussing food, drink and get-togethers lately, but hey all those make me happy. Summertime get-togethers are the best, it’s Nacho normal party. OK sorry I could not resist the little pun to celebrate the best Taco Dip.
Taco Dip for Summer Gatherings
This scrumptious Taco Dip can be thrown together in the time it takes to cook some burger. Weren’t expecting that one were you? Yes this is a quick and easy dip but it does require a small amount of stove time. Pretty shocking, i have not shared a dip recipe that requires cooking yet.
OK let’s not worry too much my definition of cooking, frying burger/ground beef. That doesn’t sound to difficult does it.
This is my all time favourite party dip. You may have thought it was my Cannoli Dip but nope this is snacking dip. This is replace your dinner with yumminess dip, a snack good enough for a meal. Or at least in my world
Is it Easy to Make this Dip
This Taco dip is super easy requiring only a few ingredients and a few simple instructions. I can walk you through the process or you can skip to the end. If you are as impatient as I am, you may not want me to “walk ya through”. That’s OK because the recipe card is below.
Ingredients you will need:
2 bricks cream cheese
large tub sour cream
lb burger
cheese
That’s it that’s all.
Making my Nacho Taco Dip
- blend cream cheese
- add in sour cream
3)in a large pan spread out the cheese mixture
4) fry burger, and add taco seasoning
5) sprinkle the burger over the cheese mixture
6) pour salsa over burger
7) add cheese to taste
8) serve with nacho chips
Do you Have to Use Ground Beef in the Taco Dip?
You actually can make the vegetarian version and skip the meat. It is still quit tasty. I have actually made this by blending the cream cheese, sour cream and salsa together in the blender. A quick no-cook version
