Most of my building began working at home on March 13th and my official last day was March 19th. The last four days in the workplace with just myself and two others showed a decrease in my particular work style. By the 4th day I was not just in a comfy New Chic tunic but pixie braids if that is even a thing.
My bright pink tunic is most probably one of my favourite pieces and shared frequently on the blog. Heck its even in my profile picture.
Today’s New Chic Look
Today I am styling a favourite look. Wearing once again a signature style and one I wore often. The New Chic Tunic was almost an accidental purchase but one that has served me well for years. I adore the colour, and the fit well so forgiving.
Adding pleather leggings, a fun boot and my little heart necklace . This is apparently my signature A Labour of Fashion Look.
Ironically as much as I have worn this tunic to death IRL, on the blog this is only the fourth appearance. That seemed crazy to me. Obviously there are a lot of regular looks that I have never shared. Double irony one of the “tunic” shares was just this February, oops.
French Braids for Work
I use to french braid my hair a lot for the office. Not actually sure why I stopped honestly. However I don’t usually wear what I call my pixie braids. Pixie because they are way to short for me now. Not sure where I have lost the length over the past two years but I am hoping isolation is good for hair growth.
This style is usually reserved for cruising with my Fedora or at home yard work. For this day, it was a non wash let’s get to the office decision. Figured I really wasn’t going to see anyone so why not.

Such a great pink tunic, Linda! The color is so cheerful and looks great on you. And I absolutely adore your hair in braids! I have been wearing my hair in braids often because I only wash it every 4 days now so braids are good for the final greasy hair days before wash day!
