Where have the days gone, it’s all of a sudden the 27th and we are counting down for a New Years Celebration. This Year our plans have changed. We are heading to Atlanta Georgia for the Peach Bowl and to see Moon Taxi play. ( Great band if you have not heard of them already). Well Atlanta for New Year’s may require something a little less heavy outfit wise but this was my originally planned outfit. For this week’s Holiday Series I opted for a New Years Outfit featuring gold and sequins.
Holiday Series for New Years Eve
If you have been around for a bit you will know that Ada and I and a few other awesome bloggers have been participating in a fun Holiday Series. Last week was Christmas Day Outfits and before that we had the Winter Wedding, the Christmas Tour and Black Friday Shopping . Today is New Year’s Eve.
What we are Wearing for NYE 2017
Me: “I found this skirt last year at Target after the holidays and it has been waiting in my closet for the perfect occasion. The sweater was an H&M sale also last year after the holidays. Two random pieces waiting for the special event. The gold and sequins in each piece worked perfectly together. This year we are celebrating in Atlanta and heading to the Peach Bowl, leaving the snow and cold behind. Happy New Year and all the best to everyone’s families.”
Ada: “New Year’s Eve is literally a few days away and I still have to finalize my plans, but no matter what I do I will settle for a girly+sexy silky camisole and a touch of leather and lace. I am loving this combination of burgundy with black – always a classic color pairing for Winter – and all the textures. Stop by the blog too, to see Vivian’s own coordinated, matchy outfit. Happy 2018 and let it shine!!”
Monica: “Y’all it’s almost 2018! Are you excited, or is it just another year for you? Regardless, Happy New Year! I’m not one to make resolutions, but there are a few that I am making this year because I have a lot of stuff to do in the new year, so might as well set some resolutions with my life goals.”
Chrissy: “Our NYE celebration changes each year. We may be gaming and setting off fireworks, chilling with friends or even falling asleep (gasp) on our own comfy sofa. I can’t remember the last time I rang in the new year with dancing, so I’m a little rusty but ready to give it a go this year!!”

Holiday Footwear for New Years Eve
I have the perfect gold capped toe pumps from J Crew but sometimes the weather does not cooperate. Like the day I test drove this outfit. Lucky for me I had black boots with fun gold buckles. The boots are a fun alternative right?

Can’t go wrong with gold wear for the new year! The colour reminds of us another golden new year lol

A gold metallic midi skirt? I’ll take two! And I’m sure you’ll have a blast in Atlanta and hopefully a little bit warmer weather! I hate having to layer up so much for fancy occasions! I’m so glad we got to do this series together 🙂
