I created an elegant napkin and accented them with pretty seasonal Christmas balls in pink and gold glitter of course. The chargers were a rose gold and I thought the contrast of squares and circles worked well. Next year I think I will stick to unadorned wine glasses ( the UTE symbols seemed appropriate for this year)
Nana’s china is a delicate pattern of pink roses but the scalloped edges are so pretty. I am not one who believes that china should be stored and never used. I am certain that when her ancestors picked out the pattern it was not with the intent that they would be stored away and never seen. Same with the silver. Only downside is no dishwasher.
