Life lately, what can one actually say. Day 434 plus or minus one in quarantine, but hey I am half way vaccinated. Hard sometimes to sit in front of the computer and be inspiring. But the weather is slowly changing that. Honestly warm days and summer wardrobe is inspiring. Today’s Pink Suit from Cleo’s has me smiling and ready to share.
It is crazy that fun outfit and a great day can change your view of the world. It can lift your spirits and relight the spark. Or maybe I just needed a break to recharge? No matter the reason I am crediting the sun and the suit.
Blog Life Unfiltered
Fair warning, if you are here for the outfit aka the pink suit scroll by cuz I want to do a little chatting. Y’all know a blogger is supposed to be consistent and regular and I always prided myself on that. Regular as clockwork, posting daily for years. Honestly, I even posted while on vacation. Minimum five days and often 6 days of posts.
Good gosh I posted and shared so much I exceeded capacity with my site host (three times). And then covid hit. for the first six months I was good. There still seemed to be lots to share, new recipes, a change in style and adjusting to life. Then it hit that paralyzing feeling of what to share and what did you want to see.
The worse thing a blogger could do, I became inconsistent, sporadically posting. Is there anything more irritating than an irregular blogger? For me, the disappointment I feel when I head to a blog and it is not updated. No new posts and I feel a little sad. OK totally overly dramatic but ya get my point. I have been feeling bad about being absent. BUTTTT I think the absence has gotten me back on track, so lets take a ride shall we.
What am I wearing Now
Moving straight ahead to the total point of todays back to the future, or out of the past post. Meaning woohoo she is sharing some style. Been a hot minute since I shared an outfit look. Ironically I still have been taking daily pictures I just keep forgetting to post. Translation too lazy to edit and create fun dialogue actually.
Todays suit is one of my summer favs yet only worn once on the blog. Cleo’s Pink Suit made it’s debut last fall and then the leaves changed and she got packed away. Isn’t it fantastic. The material is very forgiving, the blazer almost a cotton jersey, like wearing a fav sweatshirt.
Cotton pants with a bit of lycra so no wrinkles for a double win.
Pink Suit Style Accessorized
Would it be a summer style without the ever present converse? I think not. Converse are the new “orange is the new black”. Meaning the perfect look has to include converse. Or you can never go wrong with a pair of converse on your feet.
Adding a fun cotton cami and a statement necklace and this gal was work ready. In the basement or not I still want to look zoom ready.

It is a fabulous suit, Linda! I love this shade of pink on you and of course Converse with a pant suit is totally your jam! You have Linda-ized the suit in the most wonderful way. This past year has been tough on all of us when it came to finding inspiration and motivation to keep on blogging. So don’t feel too bad about falling behind on posting. We all need those breaks and when we don’t take them ourselves, life sort of forces us to. You will get right back on track!

I haven’t been posting much on my other blog either and I feel a bit sad about that too! So I know exactly what you mean! I love the pale pink suit, especially teamed with the converse!
I have a Friday link-up—it would be awesome to see you there!

Hi Linda,
Sometimes we need a break away from the blog. I know it was tough during Covid, especially at first, it seemed trivial. Glad to see you and I love this suit on you, so pretty a soft an lovely color. I also love the colors in your striped cami.
Hope you are doing well!

Only thing that kept my blog afloat is the fact I work at a grocery store. So therefor I was getting dress 5 days out of the week to go to work. My blogging style has changed a lot since having my daughter.
Your pink suit is super cute. When I came to your blog and there was no new post. I figured you must be busy.

Your pink suit looks so cheerful! I used to post 5 days a week, too and since Covid I’ve cut back a lot and I’m at about 2 posts a week now and I even struggle with that. I feel there is so much more social media stuff these days that just writing a post isn’t even half of it! I am glad to see you back!
