Some Bunnies Happy or should I say Hoppy that it is the Easter Weekend. Four glorious days off and a chance to change my decor and my table yet again. Keeping the words to a minimum to show off my Some Bunnies Easter Table. OK I say the words will be kept to a minimum but have I actually ever stuck to that? Today I created a cute Rae Dunn Easter Table, my love of pastel, Rae Dunn and tablescapes all coming together.

Some Rae Dunn for Easter
Today’s tablescape is not surprising, pastels, bunnies and eggs. I mean can it be Easter without all of those? Over the years I have collected a few fun Bunnies and created many a table. This year Rae Dunn made a fun appearance. My Rae Dunn collection has exploded so now her mugs pop up at every holiday. Plus maybe egg cups and new plates.
Bath and Body works also helps me out with pretty Easter candles, they smell perfect and look beautiful. Search around and don’t limit yourself to home decor sections. My chocolate and white bunnies were from the Kids section at Home Sense, they are actually piggy banks. I also re-purposed an easter cake stand as a centrepiece.
Bunny Napkins
2017 I shook up my table and went with the Sydney fold napkin, 2018 was the year of the Bunnies and today well another Bunny Fold. This one quite simplistic really. Hopefully I will get a chance to share the how for you soon.
I used plastic eggs for the centre of the napkin as well as placecards in the egg cups.
The Art of the Table
My tables always start with a fun tablecloth. Each year I try and find a new colour or pattern that will inspire me. For 2019 Homesense had an amazing selection but I went with a pale pastel pink. Next up selecting a charger and then the plate setting.
Anyone else use Chargers? I have them in almost every colour. Dual purpose, really make a table setting stand out and helps keep the tablecloth clean. Another fun accent for me, knife rests. Today I started with a simple white rest but then replaced them with mini rose finger bowls (upside down). I have been known to use wine corks, mini toys, anything that provides a surface to rest the knife on.
Lou makes an Easter Appearance
And as a bit of comedic relief. Guess who I caught inspecting my table? Lou knows she is not supposed to be on the table or counters but every so often. Just like our children who push our limits so do the little fur creatures we love.

I love this table setting, I think it’s the pink…and those bunny napkins!
