Y’all know my obsession with tablescapes but did you know I have developed yet another obsession? This summer I got hooked on Rae Dunn Pottery. Seriously it actually did start with a mug. This was an unintentional addiction. I was asked to keep an eye out for a friend and when I spotted the first “find” I got snared.
Rae Dunn and a Mug
Today I thought I would showcase a few pieces and show the world it really is made to be used. Incorporating my Dunn into my Fall Table was perfect, two loves paired together. Have you seen this pottery? It is pretty and practical but sadly also the star of a huge black market.
Upsellers are taking the joy out of the hunt. I totally refuse to pay someone a crazy amount of money but I will keep shopping. It is absolutely insane that a mug or a bowl is listed on Ebay for double, triple sometimes even 40x the retail price.
Rae Dunn Pottery Table
Enough about the underground economy let’s talk tables. Utilizing my Pour Pitcher as a Vase was the start of the table. Today I set up for a light lunch. Bowls and Nibbles for everyone plus a few new seasonal mugs. Finally found my Halloween, Potions and Haunted Mugs.
The new “pet” bowls also seem perfect for serving dishes. Does that seem weird to anyone? There you have it folks my Fall Table number one is DUNN.
I also tried a new napkin fold for this tablescape. Creating a fun leaf pattern seemed totally fitting. Stay tuned for a how to video. This was a relatively easy fold and one you can easily utilize quickly.

Do you use your DUNN for every day or do you lock it away? This pottery is made to use, to love to share. Dig it out of the cupboard, share your love of Dunn at all your meals.
