Home from Yellowknife and I have found spring again. I do love my travels North but I am not sad to leave the snow behind. I am so ready for summer season maybe not the Raindrops though. Tonight also marks the start of vacation, I am now officially on leave. Heading to Canadian Music Week and BConnected Blogging Conference in Toronto. Time for some Linda and Kent relaxation.
Before I go on to much lets take a moment to celebrate Hockey. Ottawa Senators are in the playoffs and the series started last night ( well actually right now). We are watching the game and blogging so forgive me if a mistake slips by. Priorities in Canada are HOCKEY.
Stanley cup playoffs and five of the seven Canadian Teams are in the running. Luckily they are not playing each other yet. I am a Senators fan, have been since we moved here. Really hoping this is Ottawa’s year but that means Ryan ( as in Bobby Ryan) and Mark Stone really need to step up their game. We need them scoring if we expect to win.
Ottawa turns Red for the Playoffs. Elgin Street will become the Red Mile, the Red Zone pops up at the Canadian Tire Center and everywhere you look you see the support. I love living in a Hockey town especially when we are in the running.
Hockey Night in Canada is no longer just Saturday night. It is every night your team is playing.
Popping back a week or so for an outfit. Actually it was last week when the April showers started. I am still in my Sens colours though but rain boots to fight off raindrops. Fun little Tee Dress from Banana Republic with a Checked dress over top. Wish I had captured a better posture of this necklace for you though. It is one of my 7 Charming Sisters pieces and I adore it. You should be warned this piece is not for the faint of heart or sore of neck, it is not a delicate piece. Sadly it’s no longer available but I am sure you will find a great substitute
Hey lets not forget its Thursday and best of all that means….
go meet some new friends!
Please feel free to link up more then one outfit.
