Brunch is one of my favourite meals on vacation, and Virgin Voyages has elevated it far beyond your typical cruise breakfast.

Razzle Dazzle combines bold décor, playful energy, fresh ingredients, and indulgent comfort food into one of the best brunch experiences at sea. Originally designed as a veggie-forward restaurant, today’s menu offers something for everyone—from healthy options to decadent pastries and waffles.

Whether you’re craving something light or looking to treat yourself, Razzle Dazzle delivers both beautifully.

The Atmosphere

Walking into Razzle Dazzle immediately puts a smile on your face.

The bright red accents, striking black-and-white patterns, open kitchen, and modern décor create a fun, energetic space that’s completely different from the elegant atmosphere of The Wake or the experimental feel of The Test Kitchen.

During brunch the restaurant feels bright, relaxed, and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to linger over coffee, tea, and conversation before heading out to enjoy the ship.

Tea Service

We started brunch with a freshly brewed pot of tea.

Served in an elegant glass teapot that allowed the tea leaves to steep perfectly, it was a lovely way to ease into the morning. Sometimes it’s the little touches that elevate a meal, and this simple presentation certainly did.

Fresh Fruit Plate

Simple done well.

The colourful assortment of fresh melon, pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries was beautifully presented and perfectly ripe.

Light, refreshing, and a wonderful way to balance some of the richer brunch selections.

Chocolate Chip Scone

This wasn’t your typical dry coffee-shop scone.

Moist, buttery, and filled with generous pockets of chocolate chips, it struck the perfect balance between sweet and satisfying without feeling overly heavy.

Served warm alongside tea, it made an excellent start to brunch.

Cruffin

If you’ve never had a cruffin before, imagine the flaky layers of a croissant baked into the shape of a muffin.

Razzle Dazzle’s version was beautifully crisp on the outside, light and buttery throughout, and generously filled with silky vanilla cream before being dusted with icing sugar.

Rich without being overwhelming, it was one of the standout pastries of the morning.

Pistachio Waffles

These were every bit as good as they looked.

Golden Belgian waffles arrived topped with whipped cream, crushed pistachios, and a berry compote served on the side.

The waffles were crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and just sweet enough without becoming overly rich. The pistachios added a wonderful crunch while the berry sauce brought a bright freshness to every bite.

Brunch service was friendly, relaxed, and never rushed.

Our server was attentive without hovering, coffee and tea were refreshed regularly, and every dish arrived beautifully presented.

Even though the restaurant was busy, everything flowed smoothly and at an easy vacation pace.
