Good Lord Mr Ford, I am so far behind in outfit posts. And I also am becoming an old woman with my latest quotes. Oh well today we are sharing a fun Red White and Old Navy cotton dress. Flashing back to early July because for some reason I scaled back my posts this summer but still kept taking outfit pictures.
Summer Blogging and New Directions
Do you scale back in the summer? I normally do not. Summer is my time to really get the posts flowing and share a lot because we hang poolside. I know that is a bit of a strange thought but it has always worked. 2021has been a weird year for me, Covid aside, my mojo disappeared. My motivation for creating and crafting remained but putting pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard faded.
Not from taking pictures and prepping just from getting posts up. Oh well, it’s a new day and a new month so time for new beginnings. I do adore this little space but she has been asking for some changes so I am trying to redirect a bit. Figure out what the people want. What is your fav thing? Why do you tune in to A Labour of Life?
Now to the elephant in the room, how many thought I was heading to the Band with “New Directions”? Better yet who even knows what I am talking about?
Red White and Old Navy
Alright enough talk of non clothes right? And enough questions already Linda. Today was what I actually wore on July 4th. My Old Navy Red white and blue strip cotton shift. One of my favourite summer dresses that has been around for a few years. Paired with the ever present “Flag” shoes on Independence Day. Yep its true I celebrate both birthdays Canada and the USA.
Gearing up fo a long weekend and family visits. Woohoo, Ryan is coming to town so maybe heading to a few vineyards, breweries and distilleries wil get the travel blogging moving again. Time for some travel posts I think. ( and speaking of travel I have a us trip booked, fingers crossed the border opens up.)
