Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

Last Updated on 2022-04-07 by Linda

Your Chocolate’s in my Peanut Butter, ever see those commercials. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is there anything better? Well that is strictly a rhetorical question because well I love that combo.

Take peanut butter and chocolate and make it into a trifle well that could be better.  Today is a day for a fun new Easter treat.  Peanut Butter Cup Trifle is perfect for all holidays or even just everyday.

Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

Funny story Ryan and I share a love of peanut butter cups but Kent dislikes peanut butter desserts.  He thinks peanut butter is OK on toast but not anywhere else.  I am like why do I even like you.  OK totally kidding at least his “not liking” allows more for Ryan and I right?

Cookies and Cream has always been Nic’s fav, and the cups well that is Ryan’s go too.  So on his birthday six years ago I found a recipe for trifle and I made it.  And never made it again till now.  Ironically the first time I made it I had purchased what I thought was a trifle Dish.

It was a monstrous amount of trifle, plus I had also made a cherry cheesecake, what was I thinking.  Sorry for the poor quality picture, six years ago I cared about the dessert not about the “gram”.

The Band’s in Town for Dessert

Two weeks ago the boys were coming back to town and I thought this would be a perfect dessert.  Guess what, the boys thought so too. This time I made it in a reasonable trifle dish and for way more then four people.  This simple dessert which whips up in no time ( ha pun intended) will be the hit of your event. I promise
