1 lb of butter
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
5 cups flour
Mix and work together
( I usually beat butter first, slowly add in icing sugar, then add flour gradually)
Roll out and cut into various shapes.
Bake at 300 for 30 minutes.
Shortbread or scotch cakes regardless of the name they are delicious
- 1 lb butter
- 1.5 c icing sugar
- 5 c flour
modification to make smaller batch of frosting)
1 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp milk
