Time to share a Facebook success. I share a lot of the Facebook food videos, I mean really A LOT… most times I am sharing them on Kent’s feed dropping hints of what think he should plan for dinner. Well a little while ago I stumbled across the Frozen Margarita Pie video and I just had to add this one to my recipe collection
Frozen Margarita Pie
It is one of the easiest pies you can ever make, five ingredients that come together in a simple and easy dessert. Perfect for Summer BBQ’s, Picnic get togethers or just for a special weeknight dessert.Similar to Key Lime Pie but more Chic.
If you prefer to make your own graham crust you can but I find it far more convenient to buy an already made crust.
When I originally shared the recipe I truly was just trying to tempt Kent with a few tasty desserts but then I realized with his Birthday cerebration this would be the perfect pie.
What you need for the PieHead to the nearest grocery store and pick up the simple ingredients you will need. Honestly this is such a basic dessert. Graham crust 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
Frozen Margarita Pie TimeTime to start baking, and I say that sarcastically. There is no baking involved making this perfect for hot summer day and nights. The ingredients all blend together and then you need a bit of setting time. Basically make the pie, eat dinner and then dessert is ready. You can make the crust yourself but the ready made’s are so tasty.
Simple and Easy Margarita Pie
- whip all the ingredients together, add to pie crust and freeze for 4 hours.
- add zest to top
- slice and serve
If you love this pie you might also want to try my Pina Colada version, tasty.
