Happy Monday, what a crazy busy weekend we had. Honestly there is so much going on in Ottawa now it is hard to limit your events. There was actually three beerfests going on in this city, plus dessertfest, farmers market and who knows how many other I totally missed.
Plus the weather was finally absolute perfect. The sun has been shining for five days straight. Temperatures are rising, was over 30 all weekend. I could not be thrilled. In addition the weather was perfect for all the outdoor events.
I cannot believe how much I crammed into this weekend. Let’s just say I have hundreds of pictures that need cropping and resizing so that I can share all the awesomeness with you.
Friday night we went out to the Elgin Beer project after work. Meet a few friends and I tried the most amaxing Pineapple Beer. I kid you not Pineapple and it was yumilicious. Then home for pool, wine and pizza.
Saturday came early and I took off for the opening of the new Value Village at Strandherd. ( more to come on that) I was clothes shopping but I also found the most amazing Flamingo wine glasses. Back home before lunch because I had a date. Kent and I had tickets to the First Orleans Beer Fest, what a great time. We ran into a guy Kent went to High School with over 30 years ago that he has not seen since then. Lots of chuckles, beer and food and then home to the pool. The friends came back with us for the perfect end to a perfect day.
Sunday was off to the Dessertfest ( I won tickets, how awesome right). All the decadent desserts you could ever want, all under one roof. Sharing all that yumminess will come later this week. Home to an afternoon by the pool, fresh new pasta salad for supper and of course a great dessert. Hockey Game outside on the patio and well yep I am a tad bit tired.
Trying to figure out how to get everything edited and cropped so I can share all the fun with you. Sad thing to be worried that I just have too many blog posts on the go.
Here is a total blogger funny, I wore the same outfit Saturday that I wore Friday. It just seemed the perfect summer dress plus with converse totally comfortable. I did add my fedora and totally did not need the lace cardigan nor a necklace.
This dress from Old Navy is a summer staple, paired with a striped pump from Shoe Dazzle for work and my white converse for play. Fun neckalce and a lace cardigan for ait conditioned buildings.
