Sometimes you have to give a gal a break and not a Kit Kat Break. It was Superbowl Sunday so the outfit of the day had to be football friendly right? I am off today and I am pretty sure it’s a shovel snow day as it did not stop snowing Sunday at all.
Sunday Funday and the Superbowl
I had a crazy busy Sunday, Actually filmed two recipes and two crafts and planned a sort of healthy snack session for the game. Honestly, recipe wise I made a low cal no carb chocolate mousse plus my first time cauliflower crust. Let’s talk cauliflower fr a minute, hmmm or maybe not.
I cannot believe the recipes and blog posts where everyone swears you won’t believe this is cauliflower! Well I don’t believe any of you anymore. It may be OK but it still tastes like cauliflower. Plus I am not sure the prep time is worth it. A corn tortilla or a slice of weight watchers bread is still a viable alternative for me.
The mousse well that was a success. A two ingredient diet/lifestyle change friendly dessert
Sunday Crafts
On the craft front I created two fun Liquor Bouquets. One guy friendly bucket and a galentine bag. Such a quick and easy craft if you have all the right tools available
Sad Reflections
Sunday was also the anniversary of my Dad’s passing. It is crazy that 31 years has flown by, Feb 4, 1987 and he was only 44 years Old. I got married June 1986 and only seven months later he was gone. Love ya Dad.
Supebowl OOTD
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room, or at least in my post. Yep you are correct that is totally not a Patriot Jersey, nor an Eagles Jersey. It does happen to be a Manning Colts Jersey so yes a few years old. It was a Birthday present from a dear friend 14 years ago. I have been a Pats fan forever but for w few years I was infatuated with the colts so I got the Jersey.
And it’s totally OK just to wear a jersey when at a game. I did however, have my Pats shirt on underneath. Now before everyone gets judgy on me, I come from the East Coast. We were all Pat’s fans when I was growing up. I was a fan long before it was cool to be a fan.
For the game I paired my Haggar Jeans with my Pat’s Shirt, a football jersey and my nikes.
Sad Fan Day
As I write this my dear old team just lost, no honestly it is 10:19 and they literally just lost. The Eagles played a great game and just outdid my Pat’s so congrats. Now let me go wallow in sadness for just a few short hours.

You are so going to have to share that mousse recipe. I wore my Detroit lions sweat shirt yesterday to watch the game. I only watch the first after of the game. Since I had to put baby girl to bed.

You are looking so cool in this outfit. Just like a perfect football player standing on the field which is filled with snow.
