These are some of my favourite Christmas Amazon finds that I actually own, use and would buy again — because apparently my holiday decorating philosophy is more lights, more remotes and always have a cocktail ready. 😂🥂

From the remote controls that keep me from crawling behind Christmas trees, to my triple crockpot and warming tray for entertaining, washable Christmas rugs, my wine chiller mould, cocktail tree and those little clip-on candles I LOVE… these have all earned their spot in my Christmas chaos. 🎅🏻✨

POV: You start making Cowboy Crack Soup and halfway through decide the cowboy needs more vegetables. 😂🤠🥣

I had every intention of following the recipe… and then I started improvising.

Out went the spinach and in went sweet corn, carrots and celery. A little of this, a little of that, and somehow we ended up with a creamy, cheesy bowl of comfort that was SO good.

Rotisserie chicken + ranch seasoning + cream cheese + cheddar + mozzarella + heavy cream + veggies… and Pillsbury biscuits because obviously we needed something to soak up all that goodness. 🤤

Breast cancer has touched my life far too many tim

Breast cancer has touched my life far too many times through family members and close friends. But losing a dear friend before the age of 40 was especially heartbreaking and reinforced just how important awareness, early detection, and research truly are.

Supporting this cause has always been close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve shared fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and opportunities to give back through my blog and social media, encouraging my community to get involved whenever they can.

Partnering with the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure feels like a natural extension of that commitment. It’s a cause I genuinely believe in, one I’m proud to support, and one I know will resonate with my audience.

I’m much better at relaxing when there’s an ocean outside my window, a cruise ship under my feet, and absolutely nowhere I need to be. 😂🛳️

Some people recharge at home.

Me? Apparently I require a balcony, a bathrobe and a boarding pass. ☀️🥂

Retirement was never supposed to mean slowing down… it just means I finally have more time to figure out where I’m going next.

Then I spotted a Wingbuddy package to Ireland AND Scotland and suddenly “just looking” turned into “when should we start packing?”

Castles, incredible landscapes, historic cities, the Scottish Highlands, Ireland… basically all the things I’ve been dreaming about seeing in one trip.

And one of my favourite parts? So much of the planning is already taken care of.

Sometimes you see a trip and think, maybe someday.

And sometimes you see one and think…

Turns out prom is WAY more fun when you’re old enough to book the cruise. 😉
