Gosh, it is already Wednesday and I have yet to publish an Outfit post. What the heck is happening to me? NO matter I am kicking off this hump day in a Target Plaid Suit that I have deemed Trans-Seasonal. What the heck is Trans-Seasonal you ask. It’s something that can ease from season to season without breaking a sweat.
I know my mom always told me to look for classic pieces. Stay away from trends Linda, go for timeless. Stick to the basics and build your wardrobe around staple pieces. I remember when I went to University she wanted me to get a navy blazer and skirt, maybe some black pieces or brown pieces. Purchase solids not patterns.
Flashing back I also remember her disappointment when I proudly showed off some plaids with puff sleeves. Oops never been a Classic Timeless kind of gal. I have however always been Trans-seasonal. Looking for pieces that easily go from season to season. This suit fits that mold, plus it does have a classic line and is plaid.
Daily Wear In a Target Plaid Suit
Back in the early spring while in Jacksonville, I went to Target. WHAT, Linda went to Target. I know slight shocker but hey it’s my little addiction. This trip was a big success because Target came out with a new Plaid Suit for Spring 2019. Small hints of pastel pink and blue make it perfect for Spring, but also great for winter. Is there anything more fun than a plaid suit? Not in my world. It makes classic business attire better.
The Plaid Grey straight leg pant from A New Day paired with the Coordinating blazer. The first time I wore this the snow was still on the ground. Making this a truly Trans-Season suit. Do you have pieces that transition easily through the seasons?
Today I am going with a navy cami and a pair of metallic brogues. Summer transitioning into Fall is what I call this.
