We all know how much I love tablescapes and napkin folding, well hold on to your hats because I have a few more seasonal folds for you. I have created a step by step tutorial and a hopefully a you-tube video, all to help you discover the secrets behind the fold. Today I will be sharing the Thanksgiving Turkey fold.
Thanksgiving Turkey Napkin Fold for the Holiday
How to Create a Turkey Napkin
One of the most popular folds to date has been the Christmas Tree for the holiday table, well today I am turning that on it’s side and creating a new turkey. This is a simple fold that works well on a casual or a formal table.
Step by Step
- fold napkin in half
- fold over again in a quarter
- take bottom fold and fold up in a triangle
- keep repeating with each layer
- turn napkin over
- fold bottom right corner over
- repeat with left corner
- creating a triangle shape
- turn over
- take bottom flap and fold up so it stands up
- take next layer and fold up and tuck under top point
- keep repeating until you hit the tail, fold up but do not tuck
- Place on plate and garnish if desired.
Do you change your table? Are you a season embracer? I love changing my table regularly. Today I am embracing the fact I get to celebrate a second Thanksgiving at least on the blog. In Canada I celebrated with a burlap table in October.
Today I am sharing a fun napkin and contemplating what new table I can create. Maybe something in teal to give the world a splash of colour. Stay tune for the new reveal.

I love napkin folding! It’s the easiest and cheapest way to elevate a table setting. This Thanksgiving will mark my 20th different fold, another version of a turkey using green two napkins. Thanks for sharing yours and the easy to follow instructions.
