During our recent trip to Collingwood we had the opportunity to partake in a few craft beers. You might not know this but Collingwood has an amazing selection of Craft Breweries, Cidery’s and Wineries. Our type of vacation spot. And lets not forget the scenery, great people and restaurants. We had the opportunity to spend a week in the area in November and now I want to give you a bit of insight into what we saw, what we did and maybe give you an urge to go visit. Now off to Creemore Springs and a fine Brewery.
Creemore Springs is a name I knew, they were/are a sponsor at the Ottawa Bluesfest. I had heard of them but I had not really sampled their beer. We decided to talk a quick trip to Creemore and check out the Brewery. We were not disappointed. Such a lovely tasting Bar and Store front.
On the way I was curious as to how a Brewery started in Creemore, actually where is Creemore and what is it’s claim to fame.
Creemore is a former village, now part of Clearview Township, located in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. It lies approximately 130 kilometres (81 mi) north of Toronto, 40 minutes west of Barrie, and 20 minutes south of Collingwood and Georgian Bay. It sits on the eastern boundary of the Niagara Escarpment.[1]
One is struck with the openess of the Retail front and then the beauty of the displays and the bar. Me, well shopper gal here always is fascinated with displays. So lets first start with a glimpse into the retail side of Creemore Springs.
and then we have the Bar, another of Linda’s fascinations BARS. I find them fascinating, the grain of wood, the signage, the displays….
Looking for a fun activity if you are in the Toronto Area and have a few hours, head to Creemore and enjoy a fine selection of Craft Beers,
