Christmas Elf Shoe Napkin Fold
For this most magical time of the year I am creating some wonderful napkins for the holiday table. First up is the Christmas Elf Shoe, I swear this has become my favourite seasonal fold, replacing my Fall Rose napkin.. The Elf Shoe is not too difficult, a few more steps than some of the others but very easy to learn and it looks fabulous on your table. I am thinking of alternating the Tree, the shoe and the hat on my place settings for a real punch.
The shoe is cute because the opening has some many possibilities, maybe add a few lindor chocolates or little take home gift ornaments for your guests.
Video Tutorial of the Napkin Fold
I have been having some difficulty with the video showing up in my post lately but if you follow the link to You tube, you can watch me re-create the Elf Shoe Napkin fold.

How to Create the perfect Shoe Napkin
Re-creating this napkin fold is quite easy. One small tip you want a thinner napkin so folding is easy or keep a hot iron close by.
- Start with a square napkin,
- Fold in half
- fold in a third
- Take top right hand corner and move it towards the middle and cross over the napkin
- repeat with the left side
- fold in right side, similar to making a paper airplane
- repeat with left side
- fold in half and turn napkin over to see the smooth side
- Take the top flap and fold it up
- take bottom flap and cross over and tuck in to fold
- fold over flap
- sounds confusing right, really its not follow the pictures or better yet keep watching the video
