Svelte leggings made for travel with Giant Tiger boots and a Flannel Old Navy Shirt

What an amazing four days I have had in Orillia. I am now home with 895 pictures to review and resize before I can start creating a few posts to share with you. Winter activities, gourmet dining and challenging ourselves to push beyond the comfortable. I am feeling rejuvenated and yet exhausted at the same time.  It is time for this gal to break out of her comfort zone and really start creating content that matters. I promise you will be motivated, exhilarated and entertained but special note I will not change who I am so the daily outfits will continue. Today my Travel Style is begging to be shared,

Svelte leggings made for travel with Giant Tiger boots and a Flannel Old Navy Shirt

Thursday was our travel day back from #letsgomaple and I am going to miss my travel mates. What an amazing opportunity to finally not just meet but get to know some fellow Ottawa Bloggers.  Fellow Bloggers I have been following and admiring for a few years now.  I think I am finally finding a tribe of supportive woman/bloggers/friends that will be there rain or shine, through blogging ups and downs.  I am so very grateful to SJ Consulting, Ontarios Lake Country and Casino Rama for making this happen for me.

Comfort Zone

15 Bloggers from all walks of life coming together to challenge each other and support each other.  Pushing ourselves to experience the unknown, to embrace the new and all the while cheering each other on.  I watched woman overcome their fears and reach for what they thought was the unattainable. We all watched men push through the pain and discomfort to say I can do this. Everyone watched people come together and experience the joy of success even if not their own.

This week was a time of support and challenge and not just limited to the bloggers.  Companies took a chance on the unknown inviting our group to visit and experience the new ventures.  Over the next few weeks I will be taking you back to Orillia and showing you what a wonderful place it is. We will experience the gourmet delights the region has to offer. I hope we will experience the thrill and excitement of winter sports that you may never have tried. Best of all I hope you too will experience the desire to visit yourself.

Outfit

This was my Monday travel outfit, my definition of travel chic plus comfort.  The leggings, boyfriend cardigan and boots are a bit of a uniform for me. My travel outfit consists always of leggings, cardigan and boots and often a shirt for depth.  An ever present necklace cannot be overlooked either. Today this beautiful purple crystal pendant bib is from 7 Charming sisters ( sold out)

Small blogging disclaimer, I really wanted to wear my Giant Tiger purple slouch boots, but I was restricted for luggage.  Six women in a fan meant we needed to limit luggage so I wore my winter boots ( which I love). I managed with a duffel bag and my laptop case, yea Linda.  Guess a packing post is in my near future.
