Its Try Something New Tuesday, OK actually its just Tuesday but I am enjoying the sun and sand
( and pool) in Orlando so I thought I might try something slightly different today..
Ungalli and The Honest Heart Collective have joined forces to change the way we look at the world.
Ungalli, a company that carries sustainable casual clothing from recycled plastic bottles. A company fiercely devoted to changing the way people think about their clothes, teamed with the band that believes that it only takes one act, one person, one thought to make a difference. “ So don’t abandon hope when you are lost and all alone”. …..
It will take all of us working together to save this place we all like to call home and Ungalli and THHC believe we can all work together and achieve that goal.
Ungalli Clothing Co. is a Canadian clothing brand based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario designed and produced of 100% sustainable materials. At Ungalli they are fiercely determined to change the way people think about their clothing. They want people to realize the negative impact the clothing industry has on the planet, and they’re dedicated to finding people who like themselves, believe its time for change. Their mission is to encourage and empower you to make better clothing choices that can collectively lead to large-scale change.
Their clothing is produced using plastic bottles (recycled polyester), recycled cotton, and scraps from cotton factory floors.. Instead of that stuff hitting the trash and filling up landfills, lets wear it instead!
One nine ounce Ungalli shirt can save:
– 712 gallons of water
– 1/2 gallon of petroleum
– 12 kilograms carbon dioxide
– 3 ounces of chemicals
Because sustainability is being able to meet current demands without compromising future generations!
How amazing is this company, shirts that not only look great but make you feel that you really are making a difference in saving the planet.
THHC have just released their newest album The Liars Club and as they embark on their CD release tour ( with a quick stop in Toronto for a Canadian Music Week Showcase on May 5th at the Smiling Buddha) they will be wearing their Ungalli Tees and Hoodies and helping spread the news that we all can make a difference.
For a complete list of tour dates and info on their new CD you can visit their website
and just a little preview.

I hadn't heard of Ungalli before reading this, and I'm loving it! It's amazing to think that just one shirt can save 712 gallons of water (I'm a California girl who's been living in the CA drought for years), so water conservation is greatly appreciated!
So glad I found your blog by way of Shane's birthday bash. =0)
Looking forward to more of your blog posts!

I was not a boy band though an indie rock band that I really like ( and two are my sons so I better like them right)

I was confused skimming the post. I was not sure if you're promoting fashion or a new boyband. Turned out it's both!
