Welcome to Happiness is Homemade Link Party #320
Thanks for joining us again this week at Happiness Is Homemade – here we are in day 40 of quarantine (in Ontario, Canada anyways!) It has been a crazy time trying to settle in to new routines. I am not envious of the poor parents balancing work, family, kids and schools. Crazy crazy crazy. Kent and I are very fortunate, we are both still working, although at home.
Katie our hostess with the mostest for April has selected some amazing features. Are you ready to check them out?
Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #320 Features
Farmhouse Style Herb Planters
I keep a large pot of herbs outside on my deck in the summer but because we live in Western New York, they gotta come in for the winter months. I had a really cute Rae Dunn set of pots but you can guess what happened to one of them. This tutorial for Farmhouse Style Herb Planters from Pamela of DIY Vibes is the perfect fix to my problem AND much less expensive!
Easy Blueberry Scones
Fun fact – scones are actually super easy to make! These are my favorite baked good to enjoy with a cup of coffee – I’ll be trying these Easy Blueberry Scones from Kristy of Mommy Hates Cooking shortly.
Easy Homemade Ranch Recipe
In my house with two boys under the age of 10, we go through ranch dressing more quickly than toilet paper (lolololol quarantine joke lololol!)!!! They have always asked me to make it from scratch but I was worried it would spoil – DUH it will be gone within DAYS! I am going to try Keri Lyn’s recipe for Easy Homemade Ranch Dressing from her blog She Saved cause really – how bad could it be?!?!?!?!
Campfire Donuts Recipe
So I don’t even think I need to provide an explanation for this one – THIS JUST LOOKS SO FUN AND YUM! Click and Pin ya’ll – Campfire Donuts Recipe from Sarah at Must Have Mom, total no-brainer.
Tres Leche Cake
You can clearly see where my mind is this week – EATING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! I’ve always wanted to try making a Tres Leche Cake, it sounds so exotic and sexy don’t you think?!?!?!!? I also have to believe this would be a great light (in texture, lol) dessert for the warm weather. Thanks to Tracey from The Kitchen Is My Playground for sharing this with us!
