When one heads to Atlanta there are a few things that need to be on your must do list. Visit the College Football Hall of Fame, and experience the Peach Bowl. Try the Skyview Ferris Wheel and of course visit the World of Coca-Cola. OK there is way more than that to do, I mean they also have Stone Mountain. The Underground Mall should be back up and running and then there is the Aquarium. Are you getting the picture? There is no shortage of fun activities, plus its a get fit place to visit with all its hills. No-one warned me that Atlanta was like Saint John and St John’s, all hills. Great leg workout.
My Visit to World of Coca-Cola
Sadly for me, it was the Christmas Holiday season, week of the Peach Bowl and I only had a very short time. Coca- Cola was sacrificed but I did get to experience the festive grounds. Have you been to Atlanta? Did you get to experience all the wonder of Coca-Cola inside? and why oh why do i keep typing Coke? Regional differences right? I have not heard it called Coca-Cola since I was a child.
Can you see the line up in my picture? and this was at 4:00 P.M. on December 30th. So much to see so little time. I loved the grounds with all the giant ornaments. Each reminding me of all my favourite Coke commercials during the holidays. Is there anything more heartwarming than a cola commercial at Christmas?
World Of Coca-Cola
World of Coca-Cola at Pemberton Place celebrated its Grand Opening on May 24, 2007. It’s the only place where you can explore the fascinating story of Coca‑Cola – the world’s best-known beverage brand.
When you go be prepared to experience the real stories behind the world’s most famous and most loved beverage brand. Have a look around and you’ll see the Lobby includes a Coca‑Cola folk art bottle display and a “sneak peek” video featuring some highlights of the World of Coca‑Cola experience.
My greatest disappointment…. the line up was far to great and our time far to short. I got to experience the beauty that surrounded the building but did not get to explore inside.
What’s Inside
The lobby featuring a Coca‑Cola folk art bottle display, the loft where over 200 historic artifacts are displayed and the Theater. The Theater features a six-minute film celebrates some of life’s most memorable moments experienced by people of different ages and cultures around the world. You can experience the bottling process and even get into the Vault where the “secret” is stored and maybe revealed, who knows? And then the Bar….
Tasting Bar
The spot where you get to treat your taste buds to a trip around the world! At World of Coca‑Cola in Atlanta you can taste more than 100 international and domestic beverages made by The Coca‑Cola Company.
The centerpiece of this area is a giant Coca‑Cola bottle. You will also find six Coca‑Cola Freestyle Machines with over 100 different beverage choices in one single dispenser–everything from well-known favorites to those that are exclusive to Coca‑Cola Freestyle.
It is said that all the beverages in Taste It! are carefully selected from numerous offerings around the world. They carefully consider the diversity of each beverage category and brand, their unique flavor profiles and a broad geographic mix. The selection is routinely evaluated to identify new opportunities that would complement the existing offerings.
Return Visits
Regrets be darned this is on my list next time I head to Atlanta and return I shall. Put this on your honey do list in the most positive of ways.
Giveaways
Don’t forget I have a few current giveaways going on for J Crew Amazon, Nordstrom 150.00 to Forever 21 and even Old Navy is in on the Action. Giveaway with lot’s more to come over the next few weeks.
A quick tour of the grounds, and as a result the World of Coca-Cola becomes must visit.

This is so nifty all about Coca Cola. I had no idea it is hilly in Atlanta, and I was puzzled about the coat and boots, I assumed you were vising Canada! So Atlanta is hilly and chilly? Wow!
Linda Cassidy says
Yes Atlanta was chilly and hilly, I should change the blog title lol
