I am pretty sure that most people do not love candy as much as I do but even I recognize at times you can’t eat the whole bag ( OK actually I can but I probably should not) So what to do with all of the extra candy we have lying around ( especially this time of year). Me, I make pie, yummy, delicious pie. In a hurry and need a dessert fast? This is a 4 ingredient make everyone think you know what you are doing desert.
Now I know you are thinking it, four? I only see three, well hello lets cheat with ready made pie crust ( so there ya go four).
Ingredients Needed:
Cream Cheese ( I prefer Kraft light because it makes me feel like I am creating a diet friendly dessert)
Cool whip ( again with the light and this way I can have two pieces)
Bag of Chocolate Bars ( today I used Butterfingers but it also works well with Skor Bars or Crispy Crunch)
Pie Crust ( I used Kebler)
1) unwrap all of the Candy Bars ( and quality control testing is encouraged, actually you may have to have an extra bag of bars on hand in case the testing gets out of control)
2) go crazy smashing up the bars ( I used a hand held but a processor also works). Set aside a small amount of crumbs to sprinkle on top.
3) In a bowl blend the room temperature cream cheese and cool whip together until smooth
4) By hand, add in your candy bar crumbs, blend well
5) Uncover your pie crust ( or make your own if that is your preference
6) Add filling to pie crust, sprinkle remaining bar bits on top and then either chill in the fridge for a few hours to get firm ( or be like me and freeze it so its like an ice cream pie.
7) Eat a health supper ( and take the pie out of the freezer so it softens slightly for cutting and then hello ENJOY DESSERT.
There ya have it a quick and easy dessert that everyone will love and if you use the ” light” version then its “Linda” Diet friendly

This would be great to make for my mom! She loves peanut butter anything. I like your addition of the Cool Whip and the crumbled up topping. It lends the dessert an elegant touch.
