Hello my name is
Lou and I am a Blogger, no seriously I love to Blog. OK truth be told I
actually don’t have my own little piece of the internet yet but I am working on
convincing my mom that she really should invest in me and the whole blog set
up. I really believe there is space available in the “Cat Life” Niche
and if she would just purchase my domain of “Life with Lou” well I
really think we could make a living at this blogging stuff or at least I could
become Cat Famous and get recognized and maybe be in movies or something. Now I
feel I should warn you I am a slightly vain little cat so given the opportunity
to have my picture taken for the blog, well I may have gone a tad bit crazy.
(bahahahahah) OK little space I am stuck hijacking a post or two here or
convincing Mom I am worthwhile blogging about. Today she is giving me an
opportunity to test my theory. Who and what is more popular, her and her
outfits or me and well just me. I am Lou, but we already established that
right, I am photogenic, duhhhh and well I have great life skills. Let’s
start with laundry, I really am useful, open the dryer and well I will hop
right in and test how dry they are and really if you need me to I have no
problem unloading all the clothes for you.
I have a great eye for flat lays and will tell you honestly if a picture will be a success or not, Mom doesn’t post to Instagram without my OK and her likes have skyrocketed now.
I really do not like that guy with the white beard but maybe if he came around more often we might become friends, just saying, how do you expect me to get to know you if you only come visit once a year, truly you are a stranger to me sir.
I do not jump on the table ( not while anyone is looking anyway) but I really do require a place at the table. It all boils down to am I family or not… Mom and Dad both accepted this argument so now I have a place setting and my own name tag at dinner. I’ll give my human folks credit when they said I was being adopted into their family they were not fibbing.
On the blogging front well you tell me, who’s outfit is better, Notice how Mom selfishly tried to blur me out… I would never pull that with her.
And then it
happened out of the blue Mom decided to give me a shot at the “real stuff
“(I saw that movie did you?) No really she decided if I was serious about
blogging, I should get a chance to test out a few products and let you know
what I thought. How is that for a #yougottebekittenme moment? Apparently, she heard about this great opportunity where we could partner with Fresh Step Total Control with the Power of Febreze and Sam’s Club and
not just test out their awesome product but they also gave us an opportunity to give
back. We were able to make a super donation to the Ottawa Humane
Society (where my parents found me), Fresh Step with the Power of Febreze gave
Mom 100.00 U.S.D to donate so of course we checked out all the options and gave
the money to help take care of a few cats at the Humane Society
minute I was minding my own business watching the world go by…..
bag just appeared (well maybe she carried it in for me with the super duper
handle that helps my little mom carry a 42 pound bag of litter). But wait back
to my story, one minute I was gazing out the window watching her carry this bag
in and then she placed it right there on the floor beside me….Fresh Step Total Control with the Power of Febreze
I am just going to say I am super impressed, huge reduction in the dust factor,
an amazing fresh smell and the power of Febreze for odor control
and she found it at Sam’s Club (and only there apparently). Ever been there?
It was our first trip and by “our” I really mean her first
because I am not allowed out into the stores. This new litter is pretty
“cat special”, it has Borate
Technology for superior ammonia control and a lemongrass citrus smell (I love
anything with the word grass in it)
there is going to be a discount for the month of May so head over quickly, it’s
an awesome savings right in the coupon book, $3.50 off each ginormous bag.
test out the Fresh Step with the Power of Febreze, did you now litter is to us
what Duct Tape is to some guy’s and not just those on the Red Green Show. It’s
true, the perfect fixer for so many things, I would never fib about this.
Litter is not just for me, it’s good for you too. Ever wanted to dry your
own flowers, well with my litter you can, (and I’ll tell you how) and know what
else, It’s SUMMERTIME and you know what that means no socks. That actually
means smelly feet because not too many people have fresh smelling feet when
they do not wear socks in the summer but never fear Mom and I have a cure for
that too.
Sometimes I bring my mom flowers, you now as a thank you for letting me pick her at the shelter and bringing me to this awesome home and sometimes she loves to save the flowers so she will always remember what I did and how special our relationship is. Well I taught her a little hack for speeding up the process.
Flowers.
are dry (no dew no moisture, seriously can you imagine putting a wet flower in
my litter lol)
five cups of litter in a bowl and dig small holes for each flower
the bowl (making sure the petals do not touch or instant flames can happen
flower with litter
for 2 minutes
when you remove the bowl but do not uncover your flowers as the drying process
continues to happen until the litter is cool
petals using a small brush if necessary
hairspray to help preserve the petals
flowers perfect for all your decorating needs, they look great but from my
perspective (remember cat here) they are no longer appetizing but my mom seems
to like that concept.
So this is a really easy craft, I mean look mom did it with just a little help from me. I mean from a Cat’s point of view if a grown human “Bean” can do this with only a little guidance from us well, then with a step by step you all should manage right? Grab a few pairs of socks, we thought one pair for each family member. Fill each sock with a few scoops of Fresh Step with the Power of Febreze Tie off ends with ribbon (we used burlap because I like that better). Tie the two socks together so they remain as a pair. Fill the smelly shoes with my Litter Socks and fresh feet forever. Bonus it removes the smell of old shoes from your front entryway.
Not just for my litter it’s also great in Garbage Cans and Compost Bins
Check out my new litter box, I mean really is new litter enjoyable in an old
box?
have you ever tried to use litter for something other than taking care of your
fur baby?
go now folks Mom is getting anxious that I am spending too much time on the
computer, now she knows how I feel each night.
