Laura and the Leather Skirt

Happy Monday and I hope you ha an amazing weekend.  I am thrilled that I got everything checked off my list. Plus I am heading to Toronto and then Winnipeg for four days and I managed to pack everything I need in  a knapsack.  Can you believe it? I am thinking that deserves a post on it’s own.  Kent did not believe I could do it, actually neither did I but I really did not want to check my bag this time.

Road Trip Packing

Normally when I go away I take a large suitcase, I hate feeling like I am forgetting something.  My mission this week is to go check bagless because I am hoping if meetings end earlier I can catch an earlier flight home. Standby for earlier flights is far easier when you have no checked bags. Truth be told that does not include my purse nor laptop but everything I have will fit under my seat so I am golden. Actually I am only taking my ipad and some books, got busy and blog prepped on Sunday. All my posts are in picture ready, just need to ad the post part so this will be a first for me.  Blogging on the IPAD.

Weekend

House is Christmas ready, all that is left is Kents tree.  We did the lights on Saturday as the temperature was perfect.  It was weird because I cut down my cedars last year so I was not sure what to do with the lights.  Kent said leave them in the garage but I did not like that suggestion.

We have a 40 foot Spruce in the front yard and I wanted to light it up like a Christmas tree.  I know it would be pretty but Kent was not prepared to climb the tree to help me out LOL. One of these days I will figure out a way.

Wearing my sweater from Laura again.  I do love the versatility of this cardigan.  Perfect for work and play.  Today I opted to try it with a full leather skirt and cami and of course my Ruby Blues Shoe/boots.
