Busy Blog day today and I am scrambling to stay awake. So big update, I didn’t stay awake and instead went temporarily with a wordless post from Linda. I am currently experiencing a weird phenomena too many events to share and not enough days or hours to write about them.
Last night I was honoured to attend the media event for the launch of the Red Couch Tour. A fantastic Canada 150 event that embraces what it is to be Canadian. Sad part is by attending an event I then don’t get to create posts on all the other amazing things that have been going on. I know first world issues. Going to take a breather here, remain calm and just start writing and sharing.
I would probably have an easier time if I didn’t share so many pictures. Pictures make the world go round don’t you think. I could write a thousand words in less time than it takes to edit and resize pictures but I am to visually a person to skip that part. The pictures tell the story better than I could.
What type of blog reader are you, pictures or words? I like both but to be honest words without pictures usually has me skipping through. That advice write to your reader, well I am my reader. I write for me. In the style I like to read. I hope that appeals to others no question but I guess my target is me ( which I also hope is you).
OOTD Red Couch
Today I dressed for the Red Couch Event. ( by today I mean yesterday). I was confident that it would not be an overly dressy affair but it seemed appropriate to wear red. The Converse are a must because I have discovered if my feet are not comfortable at an event then I am not going to enjoy myself. The dress I found at Old Navy last year and I considered it my patriotic dress normally reserved for Memorial Day and Independence Day and a few other days too. . It’s the perfect combination of red, white and blue. Paired with a fav blazer. This blazer really needs to be replaced but I cannot find a good replacement.
White Couch to Red Couch
Ironically I started the day on the white wicker sofa and progressed to the Red Couch. Do me a favour go check out the details on the tour. It’s a fun opportunity to tell the world what Canada means to you.
