Linen Stripe Pants Poolside

Well where did that weekend go?  One minute it was Friday and the weekend loomed ahead and next thing I know it’s Monday Morning.  Wouldn’t it be nice if the weekend felt as long as the week and the workweek flew by like a weekend?  Also say that statement three times fast, talk about a tongue twister. Today we share a Sunday look, poolside in my Linen Stripe Pants.

Linen Stripe Pants

Let’s talk truth for a minute.  While in the states in May I was shopping, ok not a surprise.  Back to the story, I was shopping and trying to find some new stripe pants.  Possibly moving away from black and into a colour for a bit of a new 2019 look.

Marshall’s had an amazing selection and finally I opted for these Blue and White stripe pants.  I love them, perfect length, have pockets, draw string waist. PERFECTION. Then I realized I think they are actually a swimsuit cover up, so should I wear them to work?

Well be damned with tradition I thought, who will know other than me? Except now the world because I have just told you, I wear a swimsuit cover up to work.

The Poolside look

Linen pants, a pretty peplum cami and converse.  Does it get any more summer appropriate?  A pair of sandals may take it there, but ya know I love my converse. Father’s Day with a steak BBQ celebration calls for comfy yet stylish.  This is my “totally nailed it” face.

Weekend and the Weather

Ever notice that the sun likes to shine Monday to Friday to tease us.  Then the rain comes and the weekend plans get muddled?

We had a golf tournament Saturday, did you catch my instastories?  It could not have rained any harder or longer.  No matter we had a blast but the golf gear is still trying to dry. Stay tune for that fun adventure on the blog.  Suffice it to say thankfully Kamik sent me great rain boots that I could wear golfing.  It was brutal.

We also went out to visit Shenkman Theatre and celebrated their 10th anniversary.  Lots of fun on the weekend but alas it’s now time for work.

But back Poolside

Couldn’t let you leave without mentioning my cool Bar Sign.  Isn’t this amazing I purchased it last year at the Ladies Beer Society Event.  This great couple have left their jobs and started their own business, Crafted Together Co.  Her love of calligraphy has taken her down a whole new career path.

I am still contemplating getting them to replace my Eat Drink Cheers signs over the bar. Should I?  Go for a cool Caligraphy sign instead of my old signs? Plus the sign accentuates the Linen Stripe Pants look don’t ya think
