I have been working from home since March 19th, almost 8 weeks. So I am sure you can understand when I say Daily OOTD’s have been not so creative. Working in my basement and experiencing the ever illusive Spring weather has stumped my style mojo. I have been focused on warmth and comfort and not Spring festive. Honestly we had snow in Ottawa this weekend. Just a dusting but still friggin snow.
In an attempt to feel better about Spring and my style, i thought I would flash back. This time last year I was returning from a two week Virginia/Florida vacation. We were getting ready to open the pool and I had been shopping at Target.
Let’s examine May 2019 Fashion finds.
Target Finds 2019
First up was an awesome Pink Linen Blazer and stripe skirt. Discovered at Target in Orlando. I actually had to search for both, I found them in Virginia but they did not have my size. Both pieces are sitting languishing in my closet waiting for warmer temperatures and a Skype business meeting. OK let’s be frank I am not wearing a blazer unless someone is going to see me, am I right? Tha sandals were a Shoe Dazzle purchase, loved them so much I ordered an Orange Pair.
I discovered the cutest Kimono at Target. It paired perfectly with a yellow sundress I found years ago at Old Navy. Spring was upon us and we were getting ready to open the pool. That was the first sign of liner problems that are affecting me this year. A little inclememnt weather gave me a chance to show off my Kamik rainboots.
Also from Target matching pants and Top from the Exhilaration line. Such a fun look yet only worn once (oops). Paired with blush Toms and a fun cardigan I was ready for warm temperatures outside and air conditioning inside. Notice the pool was open and ready to go.
TJ Maxx and Marshalls 2019
TJ Maxx was also very good to me last year. I found the cutest pair of blue stripe linen pants. I think they are actually classified as a Swimsuit Coverup but hey look fine dressed up. The perfect Vacation pants, dual purpose. Paired with a linen cardi I lived in from Marshalls and a J Crew cami. Notice the cute Adidas that were my 2019 constant accessory. (and ironically it appears I never shared this look st stay tune for a nother flashback look lol)
Old Navy Favourites and May Fashion
And of course my all time favourite Old Navy seasonless dress. My stripe dress that sees me through three seasons of the year. Paired with converse. This is one look I have been repeating in 2020. It works for #covidstyle. I probably have work this at least once a week since I have been home, paired with leggings most days.
What has your #Covidstyle been? Are you working at home, working outside of the house or not working at all?
