OK people I am hearing the noise about Snap Chat but I have to tell you I AM NOT GETTING IT, seriously I have it, I have tried it but man I need a remedial class.  tried it again yesterday and sent poor Chelsea a picture of my pizza, can’t explain what happened but there ya have it. So if you randomly receive a picture from me of food, or cats, or musicians it probably was totally by accident. #sorrynotsorry #pleasehelp.
 

So this week the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest  will be starting and I am sure snapchat is the way to go but how the “hello” do I fit that into my social media schedule, not to mention Meerkat and Periscope.  OK well Meerkat I get, and it is the best, seriously I am all about the Meerkating, probably because the Boys have been Meerkating their shows so even when I can’t be there I am actually there.  Its like facetime without the talking. Its like being there when you are not really there, a “peeping tom” in the best of ways, watching but not saying anything.So back to snapchat, are you using this?? Have you fully mastered the art? I like to think I am fairly on top of my Social Media but for now……They say Snapchat is a fun messaging application for sharing moments. You can take a photo or a video, add a caption or doodle, and send it to a friend or add it to your Story to share with some or all of your friends. Friends can view Snaps for up to 10 seconds, and then it disappears.

10) what is the thrill of a picture/video that disappears after “x” amount of seconds
9) How in heck do I find you?
8) I love Instagram
7) isn’t live chatting really just texting ( already have an app for that)
6) there is no such thing as disappearing on the internet ( it still lives somewhere)
5) I already spend way to much time on Social media
4) Isn’t video chat a different version of Facetiming ( already have that)
3) Its not you , its me
2) JI am not attracted to you
1) and the number one reason is JUST BECAUSE I DONT UNDERSTAND…..
 
Maybe over the next two weeks at th festival I will finally comprehend the attraction you hold but just not today

    I don't understand Snapchat at all. I never really tried it but it just doesn't make sense to me. I personally love Instagram too much and that is enough for me.

    I guess I learned something new again today. I have never heard of Snap Chat before but it doesn't sound like something I am interested in. Love the outfit. Thank you for sharing

    I feel the same way about Snapchat! I know so many people who love it but I just don't get it and I don't care about it either. lol It might be a sign I'm getting old.

    I love the outfit, the blouse, and the shoes!!! I have no idea how to work any more apps that I am not currently using! Actually, some of the ones I am currently using, I don't understand! So, don't feel bad about Snap Chat! I have only heard of it…but, will just continue using the ones I understand…thank you very much!

    Before I read your post I was going to comment on this super adorable, chic and versatile chambray romper. Where did you find such a beauty? I am jealous. But of course I read your post and loved and laughed at your reasons because I am the same. I probably will never ever get snapchat. I am thinking about getting Instagram soon though. Only about 2.5-3 years late to the game… oh well! LOL
