Well sad fact, it’s a return to normal for me. Monday Funday or rather Monday workday. Funday sounds so much better but alas I am still a working gal, so to work I go. It’s been an awesome two weeks off, jam packed with activities. I am excited to get back to my regular blogging routine though.
Return to Normal
I feel like such a slacker, I mean honestly I have been sort of blogging but it’s hard on the road. My feed has been filled with getting organized and new goal posts and I have just been treading water. I love my blog I really do but it has been a great two weeks of vacation mode. Now it’s time to get my life in order.
Organizing is needed in my house, my work and my blog. I sit an wonder how do I let time get away from me. How did I end up not following my schedule. Sometimes one has to recognize from the chaos of life we can switch directions. Recharging is good for the soul. I have so many plans for the blog and so many courses I signed up for an never completed. 2018 is my year to move forward with a solid blog plan. Achieving my goals while making sure my life still stays structured.
Time to get a schedule in place for the blog and social media. Focus on what matters and do not get sucked into the social media vortex. I truly know the importance of social media but I really want to get back to the true form of blogging.
Life and work
From a work perspective I have a few decisions I am mulling over. Stay the course or try something new? I am just four years away from retirement so do I want to go the easy comfortable route or end with a change. Opportunities abound but I need to figure out where exactly I want my focus to be. Changing jobs could impact my blog time and I do not want that.
From a personal, life is good and Kent is awesome and so supportive of all my crazy. 2018 needs to be the year for some internal house upgrades. WE have not painted since we moved in 10 years ago and that is totally not my norm. Travel and enjoy each other that is my personal goal.
Fur Vest and a Plaid Dress
This was my last OOTD of 2017. Taken the day before we left for Atlanta. Also taken I believe the last day we had normal temperatures. The frigid temperatures moved in and have not left. Here is to another year of fun looks and fun posts. Thanks for staying with me on this crazy journey.
Wearing a fur vest from Gap that I purchased 11 years ago. Ironically It languished in my closet for about six years before I really started embracing the fur look again. Paired with a J Crew plaid dress I love, MIchael Kors leggings and some cute [amazon_textlink asin=’B00VPQTRNY’ text=’fur boots’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’alabourofli06-20′ marketplace=’CA’ link_id=’4e6ed23e-f3c2-11e7-a316-ff71b1048375′] Kent got me last year for Christmas.

That is a cute look, and if it was as cold as it was here, you need a furry outfit. I was wondering how my “to do” list gets longer! I think it is b/c I do most things myself rather than have other ppl, to save money, but it is much more time consuming. Good luck with the blog this year! Luv it!

Cute look! Especially with the snow background. And I consider things in my closet that are only 11 years old practically new (Note to self: It’s time to go shopping. [I hate shopping.])!
