whew, it is already Thursday and another A Labour of Life Day. Today I decided to stop complaining and start playing. Snow time in Mustard and Old Navy Plaid. Sounds like a solid idea don’t you think.
OK truth be told I was shoveling and then playing. Kent has not been allowed to shovel so I have been re-learning an old skill.
Old Navy Plaid Dress Again
Today’s look is one I have worn often over the years. The Old Navy Plaid Dress has served me well. I have worn it with mustard yellow pixie pants. and tried it with suede. Truth be told I have even worn it with white denim. It really is that versatile a dress.
Plus did I mention I purchased it in 2016? Yep versatile and it is classic. Still regretting the fact I also did not pick up the red plaid that year too. The boots are Shoe Dazzle and a natural pairing with this tunic. The surprise for my winter version is the amazing cable knit cardigan.
I searched high and low for this cardigan, catching it on a few “grammers”. Cheapo me didn’t want to pay $80.00 for a cardi I wasn’t sure I would LOVE. Thankfully TJ Maxx always has me covered. and FYI I adore this look so it would have been worth the extra money.
Pictures for the Blog
I have an obsession, every outfit gets a picture. I honestly try to ease up on the outfit pictures but it is such a habit now. Get dressed, feel good, go outside and snap a few shots. Why not though, usually means I have an inventory of pictures when ever I need them.
What is your blog routine? Do you take daily pictures, plan weekly, monthly? I am always curious as to how everyone else blogs. Share your secrets?
Me, I am great at pictures and creating quick posts but I suck at affiliate and linking to the looks. 2019 I swore I would get better and didn’t OOPS. I really need some affiliate assistance, how do I get motivated to do that? I am going to get better at the money side, I say every year at this time lol. Share your style with me folks, that is way more fun

These photos are absolutely adorable! That mustard cardigan is fabulous with your blue plaid Old Navy dress!
It sounds as if you are like me, and not particularly motivated by money. That’s okay. I am more motivated by the camaraderie with other bloggers and self-expression than money. And yet totally admire those that can create an income with their blogs.

I also have some old navy clothing piece that I have for years. Also don’t blame you for not wanting to buy 80 dollars on a cardigan. I find my yellow mustard cardigan from target.

I love that chunky cardigan! I have my son take daily pictures which gives me inspiration for new outfits and new combos. And then I try to use most of those in a monthly post. They are kind of boring since I take them in the same 3 spots around the house. I have a couple spots around town that I like but my best pics usually are when we travel.

I love this outfit and these fun snowy day photos, Linda! I am also in the habit of taking photos pretty much every day that I get dressed. And it is great because then I have a backup arsenal of photos for when the weather or health issues don’t permit photo taking. I need to get better with the money side of this blogging thing, too. I was doing pretty good and then things just sort of dried up in the new year. If I come up with any groundbreaking ideas, I will be sure to share them with you!
