Nautical Stripes for April Days

What an amazingly crazy day. I made a promise to myself this morning. No more slacking off. Our days have been work, home, tv/blogging and bed. Crazy bad habits. Today I decided every night one out door chore, one indoor chore and then I could blog.

Outdoor Chore

Tonight as soon as we got home from work, we opened up the pool. It was a tad bit of a mess and really late for opening for us. The weather has finally turned so I believe we will be able to be swimming on the weekend. I vacuumed to grime and other crap, Kent got the pump going and we dumped in a ton of salt. We will run the pump all night to get rid of the cloudiness. Hopefully we will be able to turn the heater on tomorrow. Tomorrow the rest of the yard furniture comes out.

Indoor Chore

Front hall closet got cleaned tonight. All the winter coats, hats, etc went downstairs and the spring/summer collection moved in. Plus totally crazy I actually culled the lot. I know have another garbage bag filled with about 10 coats to go to someone in need.

Know what by actually doing something other than sitting I felt great tonight. Small steps towards improving lifestyles tight. ( Kent and I even went for a walk on our afternoon break)

Blogging and outfit

After all my chores were finished I wanted to get my garden post up ( and watch the hockey game). Next thing I knew my Sens has lost and it was almost time for bed. WTH I had not even thought about my OOTD Post. I have not even looked at today’s pictures. Lucky for me I took these two weeks ago and never used them. ( You can tell the face is still a bit swollen but not too bad)

Outfit

Paired a pair of Old Navy White denims with a J Crew Dress I have had for a long time. Love this dress. My Ricki’s Blazer and Red converse are the perfect accents plus a fun anchor necklace for a finishing touch.( and a Jord because no outfit is complete without My Jord)
