Family Day in a Green Velvet Moto and My Kijiji Experience

If you live in Ontario (and many other Provinces) Happy Family Day, and if you are elsewhere well happy Monday. Is that not a bit of an oxymoron? Happy and Monday, well maybe if you are on vacation it’s a Happy Monday. We are on the last Monday before Vacation so I guess that’s also a good Happy Monday excuse. Heading to sin city for 6 days and I cannot wait.

Vacation Plans

February the time when all the people who live in the cold try to find warmth for a week. It’s the month when winter has stayed to long and spring is still far away. We normally head to Mexico or on a cruise within the first two weeks but not this year. Family plans had as adjusting our schedule. Kent and I are heading to Vegas on Saturday for six days. Weather forecast looks, well way better than here and the Pools are open in some hotels. We normally stay at MGM but this time we are trying out New York New York.

Ironically the New York New York is where I have had the most luck gambling so makes the most sense to stay there. Plus hello roller coaster and great Irish Pub. Have you been? Are you a fan? I adore Vegas, I don’t like to spend a ton gambling but I do love the machines. And the fun hotels and the food. Ironically I have never been to a show and probably wont go this time either. I will try and find some sun and pool time though.

Sunday Plans and Kijiji Shopping

Working hard to get this post ready because it’s Sunday and I have 11 coming for dinner. Ryan and his girlfriend are coming to pick up the Band’s new Van so we planned a surprise Dinner Party. Two of his best friends from JK ( Junior kindergarten) are here in Ottawa and he hasn’t seen them in a long time so why not right? Plus a great excuse for another table setting.

As well, I completed my very first Kijiji purchase this weekend. Looking for a few dining room chairs and I found a whole set. 6 Chairs, Table and Hutch for only 300.00. so yep my dining room is full. Now just in case my mom is reading, no I am not getting rid Nana’s set (EVER). This is just for the extra chairs and an additional hutch for my Rae Dunn. Now I have 10 matching chairs, an awesome new hutch and and extra table to use when we have 12-16 for dinner.

How about that Kijiji, are you a fan? My girlfriend has furnished her entire house but I had never tried it. Quite possibly I have found a new fun way to upgrade and change my home. Next mission is to find a sectional that has a recliner and is not too big. It can be found right?

Green Velvet Moto and my Current Wear

I have said it before I adore this green velvet moto, plus for 13.00 it’s an awesome find. It would have been an awesome find even without that crazy price. This time I opted for distressed denim and fun boots, My rodeo boots do not get worn enough and I need to fix that. They are so comfortable.
