My Sheldon Suit and How It has Turned Classic

Sometime life works in mysterious ways. Almost two weeks ago ( after my awesome hair appointment) I decided to wear my Sheldon Suit. It was the first time this year I pulled this favourite suit out of the closet this year.  I also recalled Debbie from Fashion Fairy Dust had the same suit. Well a light bulb went off and I thought that would be a perfect collaboration.  One Suit, Two ways with two gals.  Brilliant right?

So back to my awesome collaboration…. all blown out of the water within minutes. I signed on to Instagram and there was Debbie in the suit.  Now I am pretty sure she would have loved the shared post but I mean honestly how often will one wear the Plaid suit? Well if you are Linda you can wear it many times and still feel great.  Over the past three years at least nine times, too funny right.

Only a fashion blogger would know exactly how often she wore something.  I have three plaid suits and I quite possibly wear them a lot.  This one is a little snugger then I like at the moment but that is quickly being fixed. Hello successful dieting.

So my next exploration had to be to check out Debbie’s wears.  I mean I knew she had the suit so I thought I might take a walk down memory lane.  Check out how we both wore it back then. How fun is it to go back in time and see how we styled the different pieces.

The Transition of an Outfit

I love hopping back and seeing what I wore, how I wore it and when it was worn.  One of the cool things about social media and blogging. Having a great record of all your looks.

So for all my looks over the years and my different hair colours, there is always something different.  Yes I have worn this sweater over the polka dot shirt.  But never with the blazer LOL. I also have worn the booties with this suit but again still slightly different.  This is the first time I have worn this necklace with the suit though. And it;s the first time for Kate to show up, my pretty pink tote.

One thing I can tell you this will not be the last time you see this. This gal loves plaid. Hopefully next wear I will be able to button the blazer though.

 

Most of my pieces are at least three years old so the actual are not available.  I did do some web searching or cyber shopping though. Let’s see if I cam close
