Tuesday is a funny day, not the start, not the hump and not even close to the end. But Tuesday is when you have finally recovered from the Weekend however you may have spent it. Tuesday is also a great day to add some Summer Style featuring a Gingham Suit to your work wardrobe.
The last few days have been a time of reflection for me. Thinking about the blog world, looking back on where I have been and what I have done. I have been pondering the fate of this space, not in a bad way, honest I am not ready to be done. Contemplating the love I use to have when creating a post, pouring a bit of my twisted self into these pages. I am more than just what I wear and I want to get that back
Today my look and therefore my post is inspired by a linkup, just like the beginning. Trend Spin LInkup is all about Summer Style so I changed my post slightly. I have been reading old posts were I actually honestly read the link up posts, I engaged in the theme, I commented and I meet friends. Time to get back to engaging not worrying about stats and numbers. Let’s just capture the joy that we felt when it all started again.
A Labour of Fashion Linkup
The same is true for my Thursday link up. Time to get back to visiting everyone and sharing our stories. Possibly time to add some twists and start featuring you who link up.I have been watching too many link ups disappear latley. People claiming they have no time, well I want to dedicate the time. Let’s start doing more than linking and going, lets start engaging. This week, let;s start something new, I will be sharing my favourite looks and linking back to your site. And expect a visit and comment to truly show this is more than just a page view to me.
Target Style in a Gingham Suit
Now let’s get to the fun and discuss this Gingham Suit. I know you all have to remember the Pants Version I shared already. Well this is a return to my roots, Target Suits and fun styles. I have styled this already with the pants but how stinking cute is this skirt? The frills down the front just made me love it even more.
The matching blazer has a bit of 80’s flair, shoulder pads, I kid you not. I am feeling like Melanie Griffin in Working Girl. ( who knows that reference?) Feeling pretty dang office hot in my fancy suit.
For true Summer Style I added a fun tank top and although I have a great heel from Shoe Dazzle on, I also added red converse for fun. My Kate Spade Bag adds a little bit of whimsy.
