Just Another Pink Fur Vest Day

Just another maniac Pink Fur Vest Day. OK I know the song is Just Another Manic Monday but it seemed to work for me. I mean honestly I have worn this vest twice on the blog within a week. Well truth be told there was a two week delay IRL, because I was in Vegas.

My Day

I had an unexpected day off today. Yesterday we noticed the house was getting cold and Kent discovered the furnace was not working. I think I mentioned that yesterday. Well I stayed home to wait and my furnace guy arrived at noon. Well valuable lesson learned. Did you know the batteries in your thermostat need to be changed? And if you don’t change them they can stop your furnace from working.

Actually I totally knew that and I asked Kent last night if he checked them. Sadly he did not hear me so he never checked. I thought he did so we put in a service call. Sat in a chilling house for hours all to be told we needed new batteries. Well DOHHHHHHH. So my tip of the day check the batteries of everything before assuming something is broken.

Pink Fur Vest and a Smock Dress

Back to work on Monday and I was really feeling the damp and cold. What is better to beat the winter doldrums back than pink, unless it’s pink fur. Pink Fur paired with a floral smock. I mean honestly dainty, pretty and oh so feminine right.

My Svelte Shapewear leather leggings (C/O) seemed perfect. Fashionable but warm. Paired with a pair of Skecher Wedges (C/O) I was set for the day. Until I stepped outside and realized it was snowing again. That’ enough to make anyone scream.

Outdoor Wear

Really needed extra layers, so my Columbia with the Lizard Thicket Vest was the coat of the day. Matching fur moccasins and leopard gloves and I was ready to go.
