Truth be told this was not a great blog weekend for me. ok actually not a blog weekend at all.  I legit did nothing on the blog and I want to say it felt great but I would be fibbing.  Blogging is not a chore for me, I love it.  This weekend however was a fix it weekend at home so the laptop stayed closed. I also did not look at pictures from last week but luckily I still had these fun shots.  Yep that is a Canada Day flag in my hand so hello June 27th pictures.  I wore this fun Old Navy Blue and White Stripe Jumpsuit when I went to Le Germain Hotel.

Just a quick outfit update if you just stopped in to see what I was wearing.  Apologies all around cuz totally not what I am wearing today or even on the weekend.  This was a fun look I wore to a new Hotel opening back in late June.  Actually I wore the Blue Blazer over the Jumpsuit to the opening and the white linen Cardigan to the office.  Honestly I am not sure which look i prefer blazer, cardigan or plain?  Which do you like?

The Blue Blazer I found at Ricki’s almost 10 years ago and it really should be retired.  I cannot find a good replacement so it stays in my rotation.  It needs some TLC though, like sewing the buttons back on, oops. The linen Cardigan is a replacement for another closet fav.  I must have searched every where to find a replacement for my Forever 21 lace back cardigan and thanks to Marshalls for coming through.  This Cynthia Rawley piece is the exact same weight minus the lace back.  It has a fun hood though so great new fav piece.

White Boots from Marshalls completed today’s look. And yes I do actually have two pairs of white booties, a pair from Target and these ones.  These were my first pair and I adore them but when I was shopping in Florida back in May I found the Target Booties on sale for a crazy to hard to resist price. So yep two, does that surprise you?  It sure didn’t surprise Kent or anyone else in my family, lol.

Life Lately and Weekend Plans

Was a great relaxing weekend and a tough chore weekend all at the same time.  WE have, correction make that a “had” a leak in the basement.  For some reason we had some water issues in the unfinished part of the basement and decided we needed to fix it. That’s a whole other story later but suffice it to say, ripped out a wall, found the leak and fixed it.  BUTTTTT my basement is now a disaster.  Re-arranging and tossing out junk is now this weeks plan.  Honestly how does someone(s) accumulate so much crap in so little time.  We have been in this house eleven years and have filled it to the brim.

We finally tossed out every box we were saving.  Seriously why would we be saving boxes?  In case we move I guess.  I found a coffee maker box from when we moved in, I have gone through three Cuisinarts since then.WE tossed it all because honestly I move again I am NOT packing.  Hire local that’s my motto, movers can take care of it for me.

Life was not all hard work though, Kent and I had a Harry Potter Marathon on Saturday night.  Woohoo I do love Harry. Plus pooltime on Sunday afternoon after the work was done.

Today, well I took the day off.  Blogging till 10:00, cleaning the Den follows and then an afternoon relaxing by the pool.  Well that’s the plan, let’s see if I stick to it shall we. Happy Monday and have a great day.
