Happy Tuesday and I am back. No honestly you may not have noticed but I was on vacation for ten days. I truly had sull intentions of blogging because it was that kind of vacay but sadly the internet at Summer Bay had other plans for me. Blogging and staying on top of social media was not in the cards. Basically as much as I love Summer Bay I hate their lack of internet. So all that aside let’s move on and start talking Stripes and by Stripes I mean skirts. In the third and final chapter ( for now) of my awesome Skirt Collaboration with Deb from Fashion Fairy Dust, today we do stripes
Skirts with Fashion Fairy Dust
Throwing it back to the start of our fun story, Deb and I have always shared a love of fashion. Sometimes it is what one might call an eclectic love of fashion, We love plaid suits and tulle skirts, we love pattern mixing and fun styles, and if you recall we also love leather. Our shared love of all things cool, and fun and sometimes flashy.
Debbie and I have been blogging besties since e both started blogging. I cannot even remember how we discovered each other, but suffice it to say we did. We found a camaraderie in our shared love of fun fashion and have maintained that connection for years. Well “Years” in the blogging world. One day I swear we will get a chance to connect IRL.
Third look of the Skirt Series
So for today lets talk about the shared connection. After we both wore our Sheldon Plaid Suit practically on the same day I contacted Deb and said we need to start working together. I mean let’s do some random outfit shares, ironically the first two looks were really close ( without discussion) Today’s is slightly different but still has a shared connection. Striped Skirts was the theme. I went with a bold stripe and she went with a more muted style.
Funny thing is I wore a dog with a mustache ( my ode to her and her love of canine) and she matched with Florals (normally what I always wear). Our love of mixed patterns is truly shining through today.

Part Three of the Skirt Series
In celebration of all things Spring and of course a Canadian Long weekend , today I’m excited to bring you Part three of the Spring Skirt Series with my good friend Debbie from Fashion Fairy Dust. Deb and I started our blogs around the same time and discovered each other not too long after. She has a cool fun-loving style and her sense of adventure always shows through in her outfits. If you aren’t already, follow along with Deb’s adventures in style, travel and entertaining. You can find her: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter
My Stripe Skirt Look
Today I opted for a fun bold stripe skirt I found at Forever 21 (similar) a few years ago. I thought pairing it with the cutest dog shirt(similar)I could find and a fun checked over dress (similar)would be fun. Plus my white boots were screaming for a fun fashion look.
Debbie went with a fun wrap grey striped skirt (close look) and a plain white tee. Although totally not a plain white tee. Covered with a floral bomber (close look)and the cutest shoes (similar) ever,
