Fridays outfit was a dual purpose, good for work and suitable for a train ride.  I was heading to BlogPodium and I wanted to be comfortable yet still look good.

Conference recovery

I am in still conference recovery mode. It does not matter how much you learn, how much you love it, how great  a take away you have, there is a need to decompress.  So much learning, new things discovered, contacts made and yet I am sitting here with my head full of wonder.

Trying to figure out how to put into practice what I have learned and discovered.  Listening to my crushes talk about their how too’s was inspiring,  Blog Podium never disappoints. Stay tuned over the next few days as I share my story and my experiences.

Sunny Side up and Train Travel

Friday I traveled by train and I wanted a durable outfit.  One that would be comfortable, stylish and still suitable for work.  It also needed to be practical for sitting 4 hours on a train and then walking to a hotel.  My Old Navy [amazon_textlink asin=’B072X9KWKZ’ text=’yellow striped tee dress ‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’alabouroflife-20′ marketplace=’CA’ link_id=’dbe777c3-a719-11e7-b50e-edd36480feb3′]seemed on point.  Plus it allowed me to wear my [amazon_textlink asin=’B01HSH8Z7M’ text=’yellow converse’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’alabouroflife-20′ marketplace=’CA’ link_id=’91d4260e-a719-11e7-8c27-150bee7206d9′]. I threw a[amazon_textlink asin=’B0162HH5V6′ text=’ denim jacket’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’alabouroflife-20′ marketplace=’CA’ link_id=’a4ce3dde-a719-11e7-baea-7b254557b815′] over top to keep the chill off in the morning and provide some warmth on the train.
